Hide Your Heart: A trick-taking horror game

You feel something inside you, sometimes. It is exceptional and brave and beautiful and it will get you killed if you do not hide it. Sometimes, late at night, you dream of a world where you let what is inside out, where you are so authentically yourself that no one can possibly deny your truth.

But that is just a dream. You are boys, and you are young. You understand the truths of being a young boy- that you must fit in or be pushed out, that being emotional and vulnerable is for girls (emotions which are not vulnerable are allowed), and that being strong and tough and mean is how you survive.

This hurts all of you. Maybe one day you will learn another way. But none of you know any better right now. You’re all hurting now.
